1. Parties & Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Vincutech ("we", "us", "the Company") to the client named in any quote, proposal, or work order ("Client", "you"). By engaging Vincutech — whether verbally, in writing, or by accepting a quote — you agree to these terms.
2. Services
VincuTech provides IT services including data cabling, network installation, IT office and home office fit-outs, hardware setup, IT support, and Wi-Fi access point installation. The specific scope of work will be agreed via a written quote. Any work outside the agreed scope is subject to a separate quotation.
3. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are valid for 30 days from issue. Prices are in Euro (€) and exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. The Client is responsible for additional costs not included in the original quote (specialist materials, extended labour, access requirements not disclosed prior to quotation).
4. Payment Terms
Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date. Invoices unpaid after 30 days may incur a late payment charge of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. For larger projects, a deposit of up to 50% may be required before work commences. Deposits are non-refundable if the Client cancels after materials have been ordered.
5. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to provide safe and timely access to premises, ensure a safe working environment, provide accurate information about existing infrastructure, obtain any necessary permissions, and ensure all data is backed up prior to any work on existing systems. VincuTech accepts no liability for delays or costs arising from failure to meet these responsibilities.
6. Workmanship Warranty
VincuTech offers a 90-day workmanship warranty on labour from the date of completion, covering defects arising directly from our installation or configuration work. This warranty does not cover damage by third parties, faults in client-supplied equipment, pre-existing conditions, or normal wear and tear. Hardware carries manufacturer's warranty only.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Vincutech's total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for loss of data, revenue, profit, indirect or consequential losses, or damage to existing infrastructure not directly caused by our negligence.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
8. Intellectual Property
Configurations and documentation created specifically for the Client become Client property upon full payment. Vincutech retains rights to general methodologies and know-how.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive information disclosed during the engagement. Vincutech will not disclose Client business information or network details to third parties without prior written consent, except where required by law.
10. Data Protection (GDPR)
VincuTech processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018. Where Vincutech accesses Client systems containing third-party personal data, the Client warrants that such access is lawfully permitted. A Data Processing Agreement can be provided upon request.
11. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 48 hours' notice. Less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the minimum call-out charge.
12. Health & Safety
VincuTech will comply with applicable health and safety legislation. The Client is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and informing VincuTech of any site-specific hazards prior to attendance.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes shall first be subject to good faith negotiation, then mediation before legal proceedings. The courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. General
These Terms constitute the entire agreement and supersede all prior discussions. If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full force. Vincutech may update these Terms from time to time — the current version is always available at www.vincutech.com. These Terms do not affect statutory rights under Irish law.
